Annihilation is a curious form of line clearance by capture of the enemy piece followed by the vacation of the capturing square with opening of the opponent’s line.
Vacation is the removal of a piece from a line or square. We have a line-vacation in the intro and a square-vacation as the main theme.

The Reti manoeuver is a double attack.
Eilazyan states that Kb4! is the Reti (3.p section B1). But the only winning white move (threat) after Kb4 is Nc2. The king attacks nothing.
